- Damsel in DistressThis is on my G5 U1 lesson plan. Lesson 3! Will let you know how it goes - it's a small class so I'm expecting it to go very smoothly. Thanks!
- The Rugby GameMy first instinct when playing this was to get to the other side's starting point. I've played the soccer games too many times, I think! I wanted to race to score a point/goal by reaching the other team's starting point. My team reminded me it's a defensive game and we want to protect our area from the other team. I really liked the strategy behind it - it's not detailed enough to detract from the English focus but it's still engaging and fun to play. Thanks, Ethan!
- Lucky WheelIs there any chance you could make a "dummy's guide" to PowerPoint?
- Lucky WheelEthan this is awesome!!
- Pointing GameYES! That's a good idea.
- Warmup DiceHi Paul! Do you think it would be cool to make the starting score the JTE/HRT's score and you along with the students are your own team, trying to beat it? That could be fun! I think it would be easy to do, too. I like this game. I hope I get a chance to try it! You know, I actually think these might be very useful in JHS. We're often given very limited time to do something and these could hold real value in giving students extra support where they usually wouldn't get it. Not to say I wouldn’t have a place for them in ES (I think this is where we’ll apply them, honestly) but I’m forever holding out hope for the JHS!
