- Discard GameDo they stop drawing cards when they get the keyword card? So the goal is to not get the keyword for as long as possible, right?
- Bad Day GameUsed this with my 4th graders and they loved it! I just had them raise their hands instead of making a paper and it worked fine. There of course is the possibility of cheating but I think the game is exciting and short enough that no one really cared even if someone did.
- Lucky DiceSorry, I'm a little confused about how points are given. Do you mean all students get the same points unless a 5 or 6 is rolled? For example, if a 2 is rolled, all students get 2 points?
- Spring Workshop Review 2023This is great, thanks for taking the time to make this!
- Heads UpThe formatting of my comment seems to be lost in posting...apologies
- Heads UpHey Chris, I don't see a way to edit my post, so I'll comment. Student A would be guessing randomly what their own card is, which they can't see. Therefore, it would be based on memory. Of course, they would also be able to look at the vocab on the board. For example: A: *holds cards where they can't see the word/picture, but B can* B: "What do you want?" A: *hmm, what card am I holding?* "I want a....bicycle!" B: "No! What do you want?" A: *guessing* "I want a...soccer ball!" B: Yes! 1 point. *Repeat until time is up* This is based on the official game Heads Up, so you could also get an idea of how it would work by looking that up! Apologies if my explanation is still poor.
