Unit Planning

Hello again! I was chatting about unit planning yesterday and realized how overwhelming it can be when you first start to do it or if you’re new to it. I also realized it had been a hot minute since I’d made a unit plan – or even a lesson plan! – and so I typed this up. Please let me know if I’ve missed something out or missed a point!

    This is really useful, thank you! To add on to your point about sharing plans, this website has the option to submit unit plans! It's still early and functionality is being added, but I'm certainly open to feedback on making it as easier to use. Comments are also available for these pages, which I think gives a useful avenue for discussion and development. It's worth noting that sharing 'imperfect' plans is just as valuable as ones you may feel are more 'finalised'. Iteration is important and we also need to account for various restrictions and circumstances outside of our control, as well as explore various ideas whether they were successful or not (and why)!
